Please note that the workouts in this programme are designed with the pregnant or postnatal person in mind – but if your pregnant, there should be no risk factors or contraindications to exercise and you should have had clearance to exercise from your medical professional. If postnatal, you must be at least eight weeks postpartum,have clearance to begin exercise from your medical professional, and if you are experiencing any symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction, prolapse or Diastasis recti,you should ideally consult with a women’s health physio about these symptoms prior to beginning the programme. Whilst Maternally Strong can help you find ways to move around your symptoms and modify your workouts, Maternally Strong cannot diagnose medical conditions of any kind.
It is important that you listen to your own body, and work at your own pace. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain, leaking or shortness of breath at any time while exercising, you should stop immediately. It is also vital that you stay hydrated and take a rest whenever you need it. You must make Maternally Strong aware of any medical conditions or injuries. If at any time you have questions, feel unsafe or unwell you must inform Maternally Strong immediately and discontinue further participation in the programme.
You are fully aware you are free to withdraw from the programme at any time and are participating of your own free will.
